Yuletide 2019: Dear Author!

Overall things I love in fic, no matter the fandom
relationship negotiation
polyamory
threesomes/moresomes
caretaking (hairbrushing, dressing, bathing, etc.)
snuggling/cuddling in romantic OR platonic ways
people cooking for others ('food as a metaphor for love' is the AO3 tag of my heart)
fic where people pretend to be married or accidentally get married
soulbonds
magic in the everyday (like minor magical things happening, not like a full-out Potter AU)
name-on-skin stories.
Tropes, basically! All the tropes! If 'ship fic is not what you write, platonic versions of tropes are also great. For example: How do characters navigate being soulmates when it's not sexual or romantic?
Gen, het, slash, I am pretty much open to anything, and any rating, so don't feel like you need to write something NC-17 or a genre that's that's not what you are comfortable writing. The only AUs I'm not into reading are the high school AU and A/B/O universes. Honestly, the only thing I really do not want to read in fic are kinks involving bathroom functions, super-angsty infidelity issues, extreme violence (canon-typical violence is fine), and I'd prefer no character death unless it's already in canon.
Fandom-specific notes:
The Interpreter: Something sort of like Silvia/Ajene/Simon, maybe? Something to do with Simon's lists, and/or Simon seeing/overhearing Silvia and Ajene together and making lists having to do with that. If they read those lists/notes and decide to do something about it, that's up to you! I would also not be opposed to things that are sad, so if you'd like to write about the end of Silvia and Ajene's relationship and her moving to NYC, that would be cool. As long as the story is focused on one or more of these three characters I will be happy. (No Sean Penn, please.) (Also, incest is not a squick, so if your idea goes in that direction it's definitely not a DNW!)
Barry: There are not words for how much I love this dumb, smart, funny, sad, exhausting, painful show. If Ryan, then I would be interested in an AU where Ryan lives; whether it be Barry getting to be friends with him, or Ryan filling the Sally role on the show and becoming Barry's romantic/sexual partner. (If you'd like to go this route, please don't remove Sally entirely, because I enjoy her.) If NoHo Hank, anything with him being goofy and sending Barry text messages with inappropriate Bitmoji - however you'd like to take it. If Sally, I sort of want to know about their sex life? It seems normal on camera, but neither of them are normal, and Barry seems almost like he's got way more stuff on his mind than sex but suddenly sex is happening, and he also seems like he's not all that experienced unless like, Fuches decided to buy him a girl or something some time.
Tomorrowland: Any of the above tropes for Frank/Casey, because I will admit that I love Frank/Casey. If you don't love Frank/Casey, I would also be really interested in reading a platonic Frank+Casey version of any of the above tropes where Casey is :-D :-D :-D about things and Frank is grumpy and they bicker adorably and it turns out well in the end (this is basically what happens in the movie, which is why I love it so much!), or a story about Frank's life in that period after he got kicked out of Tomorrowland but before Athena dumped Casey in his driveway. Maybe one of Frank's gadgets saw Casey in his future but he just wants to be left alone and not love anyone again! Oh, Frank.
MASH (the movie): I would like a story about Hawkeye lazily seducing anyone, really. This in no way means you have to write any actual sex, or pair Hawkeye specifically with Duke or Trapper! Just as long as it's Hawkeye being Hawkeye, calling everyone "babe" or "baby" or "baby boy", saving lives on the operating table, I'm game. I would also be interested in trope-fic for this movie (keeping it set in Korea, such as "how do we navigate this soulbond while in a war?"), or any combination of Hawkeye, Duke, and Trapper meeting up somewhere Stateside after their tour is up and reminiscing (platonically or not, however you're interested in writing it).
Shetland: There are several things I love about this show but the top two I would most like to read a story about would have to be Jimmy and Duncan's co-parenting setup (platonic forever dads version or Jimmy/Duncan version, however you want to go), and Jimmy's Platonic Love for Tosh where he always seems to want to push anyone who hurts her off a cliff. Normally if something I was watching went the places that Season Three went for this show, I would quit. But the way it was handled was so fantastic, the way shows should do that sort of storyline if that's the path they've committed to. I would prefer no outright Jimmy/Tosh, so something like a scene from a case where Tosh gets to lay the (verbal) smackdown on a suspect and Jimmy's proud of her, or Jimmy offering support after the wedding-that-didn't-happen, even just a story about Tosh herself (whether it be about her recovery or something else entirely), or wacky police station hijinks - it can't be serious murder cases all the time!
